A swift current winds through some rocky areas. The right side has hills with a lot of tall tree, currently no leaves. The left bank has more rocks and boulders and has some deeper areas that hold some trout.

This is one of creeks that I fly fish in February and March when my home creeks (Darby and Ridley) are closed to fishing. I am happy to see trout are thriving 😊 Trout are hiding around the boulder 🤫

A guided fly fishing tour was going on when I arrived my usual place, but why here? Please go somewhere more popular for a tour, this is a place for quiet fishing 😭

Nevertheless, I drove another mile to get even a better sport to complete my weekend 😊

This creek is coming from Nolde Forest and runs through suburban areas. This area is surrounded by narrow riparian buffers with many trees. It is a cloudy winter day. Trees are standing tall without leaves.

The water looks nice. I didn’t fish, just taking a little walk while kids are warming up for a soccer game 😉 Today is probably a very good day for fly fishing, but my son has soccer games in two separate places, driving a lot instead 😊
