The Jerusalem Cross is a symbol of the Crusades. Disingenuous people argue it’s “just a representation of Christianity and not bigoted”

But we all fucking know the Crusades was about massacring anyone that wasn’t Christian.

Pete Hegseth has a HUGE one tattooed on his chest

It’s a symbol of hate.

Widely applicable.

I wasn’t suggesting a partnership, just an example

Exactly!

Whimsy? In this economy?!

I've been pilled by YouTube videos of EVs in Asia charging in minutes and looking amazing and costing literally a third of what cars cost here.

It's WILD what's happening.

Okay, it's two things.

Don't forget absolutely ruining the usability of all their software.

Apple really has been going downhill for a long time. It was probably a mistake to put the logistics guy in charge.

Heh. Yeah I was noticing that, too.

I think it's a kind of nostalgia.

Totally! They just did with the Neo laptop. And the low end iPhones aren't that expensive. They could use the same model as the phones: a pro version for people who wanna spend money, and the regular one for everyone else.

This is a classic Apple play. They did it with the iPod, too. There were lots of other bad MP3 players. They just made a better one at the right time.

NOW is that time for an inexpensive electric commuter car for America.

But it wouldn't have to be! BYD sells amazing electric cars for the equivalent of 10k right now!

And no self-driving shit that barely works. Just a good, cheap, electric, commuter car. The rest of the world has them already!

Erika will hate this answer, but: Apple Car. Take the amazing, cheap, electric, fast-charging commuter car tech that BYD is kicking ass with in Asia and bring it here, with a seamless connection to your iPhone. It's something only Apple could do and it's so needed here.

Yeah I'm a longtime Marvel and MCU fan and this movie has THE STINK on it. It feels like Corporate Product, not creative endeavor. I'm over it.

Somebody should look into why this keeps happening.

Also cancel any project that involves putting a computer on your face.

Yeah, Masto has more user control of where posts appear. Here everything is visible to everyone always, which causes trouble. But here you can turn off replies per post, which you can't do on Masto.

Yup, it was standard. Twitter was the first to put the reply box on top, and, well, look at it now.

I'm allowed one per day.

Yes, what we did at Fray was show the first page of replies (10) before giving you the ability to reply. Here you could show a few of the "best" (however that's defined). It improved replies dramatically!

Not all the problems, of course. But certainly some.

Also, I figured this out in 1996.

A red blousy flower bloom in a field of green.

I have typed and deleted several posts that would have just added another bit of negativity to the skyline, so instead, here's a pretty peony blooming in my yard. #bloomscrolling

I genuinely believe that making people scroll past the thread and the replies before reaching the reply box would solve so many problems.

I hope you called them a bot fondler.

Sometimes the answer to “how do stupid things keep happening?” Is “people can find intelligent-sounding ways to rationalize anything”
