It was opposite field but nice to see the HR tonight.

Track 4:
How about a nice long jam at #4 before flipping the record over?

Any thought on taking a look at what’s happened to Michael Busch? He was never a big bat speed guy but 50% ground balls with little power?

Track 3:
This was released as a single but did nothing so I’m putting it in as my 3rd track. Good opportunity to get these guys in.

Blah, blah, blah. He’s going to wind up with nothing.
And please vote today Virginia!

Track 2:
I could have chosen “Ramblin’ Man” or “Losing My Religion” but they were well known outside the album so I chose this song which fits perfectly on its album after “Black Dog”.

Track 1:
I like these mini-challenges. Lots to choose at #1 but looking at my avatar, this should be no surprise. I love this song.

Especially with Busch next who has been hitting so much on the ground lately.
Go, it was my era but just not a fan.
It’s #CountryRockSunday!

Sometimes I also think he says what he wants the answer to be as if that will make it so.
I like it. An unexpected choice for #1.
This would be my #1 choice as well.

Neil Young : #1 ranked
Originally released in 1977 on "American Stars 'n' Bars". Great song, great grungy guitar and the final reason I chose it as #1, it is great live. Here is a version from Live Rust.

A fine choice at #1. Probably would be mine too.
It is so overrated as a pizza topping.

Today's song along with "Cinnamon Girl" & "Cowgirl in The Sand" (which have already appeared) are the pillars of "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere". A lot of Neil's guitar work on this one.

A surprise entry.
It is amazing and sad how many good protest songs are still "perpetually relevant". You can go back to Woody Guthrie and "Do Re Mi".
This album is one of my two locks for Top 5.
Ugh, I hated it back in 1972. I probably still hate it today.

The 1st song off his 1st album w/Crazy Horse and my favorite album of his. The opening chords are one of my favorite on any album. They signal all the goodness to come on the album & in the future.

Tied with the Dodgers.
I knew it was coming. This is a tough one. There are a couple of locks and unless I've completely forgotten one, my top 5 comes from this group.
I'm far from an expert on all his releases but this one from 2004 is my favorite..
I like that. I’ve got a few albums which opened up new doors too.
Some good selections today for #CountryRockSunday. Today my post remembers Jon Dee Graham who passed away on 3/27/26.

Thanks. I really like this. Never heard of the group before.

Also from "After The Gold Rush", this song was supposedly written for Graham Nash after his split with Joni Mitchell. My highest ranked mellower Neil song. I've always loved the message.
