@drnealbarnard.pcrm.org @pcrm.org hey there, I’ve been plant based for over a decade but carrying too much extra weight around my middle (diet and exercise wise it makes no sense - I already eat from the power foods list) are there other reasons that can cause this? Stress/hormones/illness etc?

I’ve been struggling with my weight recently. On paper, my diet is super healthy, my exercise levels are great, my blood tests come back healthy, heart rate, vo2 etc all great but I have this chunky middle that makes no sense - even health professionals are stumped. A month ago I tried a new book

There’s lots of news articles at the moment regarding fare dodgers on London transport. Whilst I don’t think fare dodging is right - TFL is too expensive. I live in zone5 - takes 15mins to reach Victoria (the next stop) but for both children and me it’s almost £40. (£54 if husband comes too)
