A black and white print that represents the body of Jesus lying in a tomb after the first Good Friday. The image has the body with one arm hanging down from the plinth on which the body has been placed. Most of the image is made of linen cloths pulled in different directions over the corpus. The image is one in the sequence of stations of the Cross created alongside poetry of music for Newcastle cathedrals jagged edges project. The project uses work from survivors and victims of church based abuse to reflect on the traditional stages of Christ betrayal, arrest, trial, torture, and death - https://www.newcastle.anglican.org/jagged-edges/

An ecumenical service of morning prayer in the Chapel of Our Lady Martyrdom, at Canterbury Cathedral, took place on Thursday, to celebrate 60 years since the Common Declaration by Pope Paul VI and Archbishop Michael Ramsey, on 24 March 1966.
A prayer for the installation of the Archbishop of Canterbury. Almighty God, you call your Church in every age to proclaim the gospel of Christ: look with mercy upon your servant Sarah, and grant that, as deacon, she may care for those in need, as priest, sustain us with the ministry of word and sacrament, and as bishop, guard the faith and build up the body of Christ in holiness. Give her wisdom and kindness that as archbishop, she may promote unity, seek truth, and lead us in the way of righteousness and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Join us in prayer for the Archbishop of Canterbury on the day of her installation. 🙏
