Now there's a happy monster.

Two friends worked at McDonald's during those uni years, another worked at Coles. My New Wave look couldn't compare to that of my girlfriend. She worked at Le Chateau.
Dare we hope for Ottawa and/or Montreal dates? Either way, Library of Brothel will be on my night table, and shortly thereafter on my shelves (and my sister's come Christmas). Congratulations!
Nancy, not only am I old enough to remember, as a young university student I worked at two of the Montreal locations (much to the envy of my friends).
So odd to think that he got his start pushing "new wave" and "cutting act" artists like Bowie:

Roberts is a weak sycophant, but will speak out on occasion. Might have something to do with him being Canadian.
Apple is best, but I've been putting off buying anything since Steve Jobs died. I was right to do so. Tim Cook's 'unique unit of one is' looks and smells like shit. Lord knows Jobs was no saint, but he is when compared to Cook. A sycophant and a man with no vision whatsoever, that's Tim Apple.
The only time I've seen the man was on the last day of August 2000, with my sweat-drenched back turned on Lake Ontario at Toronto's Molson Amphitheatre. "Everybody Knows This is Nowhere" was the third song, but for me the high point was the 2nd encore, a 17-minute rendition of "Cowgirl in the Sand."
At age 23, a Saskatoon boy publishes his first short story in Esquire. He publishes 18 more stories in the magazine over the next 15 years, along with three novels... and then disappears.
All I've been able to find about Robert Switzer:

Every weekend, this Canadian shops in Brockville, Ontario. You can see the American shore across the St Lawrence with such clarity; it's not two kilometers away.
Whenever I see that shore, I wonder whether I'll ever visit the United States again.

Let me fix it:
Ford Government spends $28.9M on a private jet for Doug Ford.
Like the sweet dove, the illusion dies.
I was 22 and suffering after the breakup with my long-time university girlfriend. So, as you might imagine Steve McQueen (aka Two Wheels Good) was my soundtrack. I bought every one of these albums and own them still, except for the Townsend, which the next girlfriend took and still has. Ah, life.
In two weeks?
Greenland would've been a war. Why not include Greenland?
Great pics. I saw you both on the same Montreal Spectrum stage ten years apart: Gang of Four in 1984 and Lush in 1994. Yours was the last Spectrum show I ever saw. We moved to Vancouver the very next week. I'm glad we caught you, and am envious of those who got to see you share the stage last night.
If this is what you're feeding your military, just image what ICE detainees are being forced to eat.
Purchased for the jacket alone. You may not be able to judge a book by its cover, but you sure can sell it. Bibliophiles will understand.

No relation.
I'll have to track it down. The most surprising to me is 1949's Torch of Violence, which features the word shit. 1949!
In effect, what Trump is saying is that the unborn are desperately in need of this ballroom.
Imagine if prices of Canadian pressings of old Bowie albums start going up somehow. I could be looking at an easy retirement. That's something my family needs to pay attention to.
The question Canadians are asking is why the family has to pay for cancer treatment at all.
Question from a Canadian: Why did you have to pay for your husband's cancer treatments?
The hands are too big.
Goodbye Melanie. So long Elon Musk.
Depends.
Presented as a Christmas gift to my sister Annabel last December. How could I resist! Your review has convinced me that I should also buy a copy for myself.
Read for the #1961Club, this well-received forgotten novel. The cover describes it as a mystery, but it isn't. The flyleaf gets it right: "original and unnerving chiller... the blend of rueful comedy and bearable tragedy is done to a turn."
