We have 1 game left in this 2024 season. You have given us a dream of a season, and we couldn’t be prouder of this team. When no one was watching, we could see you crystal clear. We know you have what it takes. We are here in Kansas City with you, to see you ladies do what you do best and support you all through the game. Haley- Thank you for taking this job! Your belief, experience, dedication and no a-hole policy has made the biggest impact in the club. To have a VP of Soccer Operations and Sporting Director be so directly involved with the team and the coaches have allowed this team to succeed. You have been a driving force for us supporters as well because we all believe in you. We are excited to see what else you got for us next season. Our Club- Our City, Our Pride is so much more than a chant for corner kicks. Our Pride is better because support from Our City. We have truly enjoyed collaborating with Iron Lion Firm to design and pull some epic tifos. Shout out to Ruckus and ILF for helping introduce more fans to the women’s game and get our house LOUD! Special thanks to the support from the City players and staff (if you didn’t know, Felipe is a big fan!) Last (but not least), shout out to the Wilf family, thank you for trusting Haley to take our Club to another level and creating a Club players are excited to come play for!

Marta- We’re sure there’s nothing we can say that you probably haven’t heard before. You’re truly the GOAT and we have been so lucky and so spoiled in watching you play for this club since 2017. The passion, leadership, and love you show this team is unmatched. No one deserves to captain this team into the championship more than you. That fire within you radiates and we feel it every game. Our players- Whether on the bench, injured, retiring or on the field, we see you! Every single one of you is an important piece of this puzzle. We have been witnesses to the joy and pride you ladies show when it comes to being part of this team. The love, care, passion, loyalty, trust, belief and respect you have for each other, the coaches and the staff are things that can’t be bought. You have all grown so much as a team and as individual players and we are lucky and happy to have you all here. This team is more united than we have ever seen and it’s thanks to all of you.

Coach Seb- From seeing you play for the Lions, to volunteering with the Pride, to now being the NWSL Coach of the Year, NO ONE is better to lead this team than you. You have experienced firsthand this club’s ups and downs and have managed to create the best formula for achieving success. Thank you for all you’ve done and what we know you will continue to do for this club. Coaching team and Staff- The force behind the team! We don’t get to see all you guys do behind the scenes, but we know you are all part of the culture the team has created. We thank you for what we can imagine are long days and long nights preparing for each game plus the countless of hours making sure our players have the best necessary to be at their best.

Open letter to The Orlando Pride, With our biggest game just 1 day away, we can’t begin to express the joy this team has brought to us this season. When this club started in 2016, we had a roster full of big names and a dream to win the championship. We came so close in 2017, only to lose our playoffs match against Portland. That loss was the beginning of a series of dark years for us as supporters. Players’turnovers, coaching staff turnovers, decaying attendance, and a new ownership group made it somewhat difficult to see the light. Last season we saw the ‘turnover’ we wanted to see and it’s thanks to all of you that a new era for this club has begun.
