People in north of England twice as likely to be killed in accidents as Londoners, report finds Safety charity warns deaths are rising overall and closely linked to deprivation

In 2001, the term "accident" was banned in BMJ publications. Unintended injuries & deaths are due to the actions of people. The RoSPA report demonstrates that the implementation of austerity, for example, has caused, not only suicides and disease, but also unintended yet foreseeable deaths

The biggest story in the world right now is that the president of the United States is a demented old man who takes pleasure in torturing and killing people and is committing crimes with impunity. And yet most legacy media outlets are too cowardly to tell it like it is.

My quality of life has improved immensely by installing the #Merlin app. There's a whole world out there we can remain oblivious to. 🙂

Black-and-white close-up portrait photograph of Elsie MacGill, the pioneering Canadian aeronautical engineer known as the “Queen of the Hurricanes.” Shown from the shoulders up, she has short, wavy light hair, wears thin round wire-rimmed glasses, and a light collared blouse under a darker jacket, looking slightly toward the camera with a calm, neutral expression against a plain studio background.

A brief reminder that Jenni Murray dedicated the last almost decade of her life to anti-trans activism, including working alongside Sex Matters on a campaign, and so should be remembered with that full context of who she was considered.

Newspapers that told their readers austerity, Brexit, Johnson & Truss would be brilliant are attacking the British Prime Minister for not unquestioningly following a lunatic President into an illegal attack. And on social media, he gets attacked from the other 'side' for doing the precise opposite!
