The author sits at her exhibit table next to a Mitski poster she designs. Two teens stand in front of her table. One teen asks, “is that a REAL Mitski poster?” The author answers, “haha yeah … from 2015! Over a decade!”

The author looks wistfully skyward and says “it was a small scene in Brooklyn … we have the same birthday actually!”

While the author stews in nostalgia, blissfully ignorant, the teens give each other a look. One of the teens says “oh my God…”

The teen follows up with “Mitski is OLD!” A spike from the word balloon punctures through the author’s glasses into her eye.

Catching strays at ECCC

Not everyone looks interested or maybe it’s just that not every creature actually understands. The main figure looks out toward the viewer, aware of the silliness of the situation. Around the image is a border of circles and magic with books and little fluff balls on the top and bottom.

goofy sketch that I’ve been sitting on for a bit. Took it to ECCC && tried finishing up the pencils for it during my flight, at the hotel, and at the con! Hoping to ink it when I get home (after annoying my cat 🥹)

this is dopeee! (and fr would be so terrifying to encounter in the safari park)

the new starter Pokemon Browt waving their wing and being a cute lil bean chick with a heart bubble above their head. behind the pokemon sits a line-art figure that is crying at the cuteness with their hands together in a prayer hoping that it actually stays as cute/cool in its evolutions. rowlet stands by the figure it's wing on their arm glaring with little star eyes at the new grassy bird type as if to say "excuse you, I am right here, I am the eldest boy"

abra is my ultimate, but I'm a sucker for the cute birdos in pokemon
