Let's Do It, Let's Fall In Love queerwolf79 Summary: Did you know that a sinner’s contract could be loaned out? Neither did Angel. Six weeks after Val has taken over Voxtek, and Angel has tested exactly how many drugs are too many in Hell, Val loans out Angel’s contract to the mysterious owner of the Magic Kat Casino. Angel is given a six month residency with nightly performances. Which all seems too good to be true; with a custom decorated suite, a paycheck, and being reunited with Fat Nuggets. Then he’s introduced to his pianist, none other than the former overlord and gambling demon, Husk. Over the course of his residency, they work together seamlessly, selling out shows months in advance, and their chemistry soon becomes the talk of the Pentagram. But Angel refuses to get his hopes up; hopes about escaping his deal, and hopes about a certain cat demon with gold eyes and a singing voice made of honey. The issue? Since their reunion things are different between them. As they begin to understand each other, build a camaraderie through jazz standards from the early and mid 20th century, Angel is getting dangerously close to falling in love for the second time in his existence. Thankfully, Husk does not and will never reciprocate. Right?
