Planets CAN have two suns in their sky! The first one discovered was Kepler-16b in 2011. It stays stable despite the 3-body-problem-ness because its orbit (at 0.7 AU) is large compared to the orbit between the two stars (at 0.23 AU).

This rips, and is about the closest I've seen to kinda sorta maybe encapsulating just how freaking fast and intricate high level foil is.
READY PLAYER ONE ?
Did it mistake him for a watermelon?
both sides of that divider needed a "consent" class but maybe a few extra lessons on the lacrosse side instead of lacrosse

Wow!
All joking aside, our cells have an orientation & polarity, fundamental to function. They incessantly monitor the environment around them. Mechanosensing is the way cells translate physical changes (gravity) to internal signals.

Just ran across this map of the Dumpling Diaspora. The Ukrainian name for dumplings, "varenyky", lit. means "boiled ones". I looked up a few more etymologies:
Ravioli - rava (turnip)
Pel'meni - bread ears
Pierogi - Party (!)
Here's to the little boiled ones in all their forms and fillings! π₯
Oh wow, it really is. it's like they have two floors of a triple-decker but they're not contiguous π
WELL NOW, would you look at that?
A massive, 4-YEAR-LONG study of NEARLY 30 MILLION people in France found that individuals who received a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine had a 74% LOWER risk of death from severe COVID-19 compared to unvaccinated individuals and ZERO increased risk of all-cause mortality.

How it's going in the world of LLMs-for-coding, in one image.
(No criticism of this repo in particular, but the image does beg the question: where does this end? Harness recursion? Harnesses all the way down?)

Contemporary Catholic doctrine The just war doctrine of the Catholic Church found in the 1992 Catechism of the Catholic Church, in paragraph 2309, lists four strict conditions for "legitimate defense by military force:"[65][66] The damage inflicted by the aggressor on the nation or community of nations must be lasting, grave and certain. All other means of putting an end to it must have been shown to be impractical or ineffective. There must be serious prospects of success. The use of arms must not produce evils and disorders graver than the evil to be eliminated. The Compendium of the Social Doctrine of the Church elaborates on the just war doctrine in paragraphs 500 to 501, while citing the Charter of the United Nations:[67] If this responsibility justifies the possession of sufficient means to exercise this right to defense, States still have the obligation to do everything possible "to ensure that the conditions of peace exist, not only within their own territory but throughout the world". It is important to remember that "it is one thing to wage a war of self-defense; it is quite another to seek to impose domination on another nation. The possession of war potential does not justify the use of force for political or military objectives. Nor does the mere fact that war has unfortunately broken out mean that all is fair between the warring parties". The Charter of the United Nations ... is based on a generalized prohibition of a recourse to force to resolve disputes between States, with the exception of two cases: legitimate defence and measures taken by the Security Council within the area of its responsibilities for maintaining peace. In every case, exercising the right to self-defence must respect "the traditional limits of necessity and proportionality".
I Wikipedia'd Catholic "just war doctrine" to try to figure out what he's talking about, not being a Catholic. Surprise surprise, the US attack on Iran fails the Church's tests for being a "just war". But go on, Mike, keep mansplaining Catholic theology to the Pope
This was Trump speaking. Other people are not real for Trump. he is the only one who matters to himself
