Book 24 of #The52BookClub #The52BookClub2026 “The Ending Writes Itself”
A mystery in the style of Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None" with the tone of "Knives Out". It was fun and creepy and surprisingly funny, filled with characters you'll love...or love to hate.

By the time you get to book 6 it’s almost got a cheeky post-apocalyptic Ted Lasso vibe, and I think that’s something a lot of us need right now.
And for this one we got Patrick Warburton and Travis Baldree as guest stars!
OMG I am so excited for you guys!
The narrator is EPIC. I’m reading the hardback of Operation Bounce House and it’s just not the same!
OMG yes! And I love that Samantha is part of the TEAM now too! How the narrative is shifting and they’re working together. And the epilogue got me on my feet cheering multiple times (my husband is only on book 3 so he has to catch up).
The t-shirt is chef’s kiss perfection ❤️
It was so great! I absolutely devoured it. And the sequel comes out this year!
Book 23 of #The52BookClub #The52BookClub2026 “The Eye of the Bedlam Bride”
I laughed, I actually cried real tears, and I shocked my husband more than once by cheering. You can’t just jump to this one (it’s #6 in the series), but it’s one you’ll appreciate when you get here.

Book 22 of #The52BookClub #The52BookClub2026 “We Solve Murders”
It’s twisty and turny, laugh out loud funny, but it’s the heart that makes this one soar. In between all of the silly antics are true moments of vulnerability by characters just trying to do their best. I loved it!

Oh I’m so sorry. I had to say goodbye to my Groo in November. I still miss him every day, but it hurts less. I remember the fun silly times more than the hard ones. Be kind to yourself as you process ❤️❤️❤️
Book 21 of #The52BookClub #The52BookClub2026 “Lies Sleeping"
It’s got some fantastic character arcs, an engaging storyline, a final confrontation with the main nemesis, humor, and action sequences that aren’t overly complicated yet keep you on the edge of your seat.

Book 20 of #The52BookClub #The52BookClub2026 “Howl’s Moving Castle"
The movie adaptation takes almost every one of the book’s flaws and solves them. So what’s left in the original book is almost a different story, and a far inferior one. I wanted to love it but didn’t.

I love this!
That’s definitely one of my favorites.
The “beginning” (and in that I mean the first 2.5 hrs of the audiobook) is just overly full of a lot of characters and interactions that don’t matter. Either it was confusing or I just didn’t care. I wish they’d either been cut entirely or added as flashbacks later in the book.
Book 18 of #The52BookClub #The52BookClub2026 “A Witch's Guide to Magical Innkeeping"
The beginning is a mess, I almost DNF. I recommend you read chap 1 then skip to chap 8. After that it’s the cozy romantasy you’re expecting with characters you actually care about and it’s not bad!

Book 19 of #The52BookClub #The52BookClub2026 “Nobody's Baby"
A really wonderful sequel to the first which is shaping up to be a fantastic series! "Murder, She Wrote" in Space! My only complaint is that these novellas are short and I’ll have to wait so long for the next one.

Book 17 of #The52BookClub #The52BookClub2026 “The Butcher's Masquerade (Dungeon Crawler Carl #5)"
The best so far! Great character development and arcs, important conversations, great comedy, excellent manipulation of tension, and action sequences that I didn't find too overwhelming.

Book 16 of #The52BookClub #The52BookClub2026 “The Hanging Tree (The Rivers of London #6)"
This series just gets more and more addictive!

Just started “The Brothers Karamazov”, my first Dostoyevsky….and it’s effing HILARIOUS. Not at all what I expected! #Booksky
For prompt 17 you can pick a TJ Klune! Have you read Under the Whispering Door? Or House on the Cerulean Sea?
Book 15 of #The52BookClub #The52BookClub2026 “The Correspondent"
Sybil glides through life unaware that her assumptions are classist and offensive, but when challenged she is contrite and apologetic. Told through correspondence we watch her learn and grow in spite of of her age.

So many, lol. But most recently Circe, A Gentleman in Moscow, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, and Prodigal Summer. What prompts do you need next?
Book 14 of #The52BookClub #The52BookClub2026 “The Gate of the Feral Gods"
If you've not started the Dungeon Crawler Carl series yet...you should really get on that.

It is! I 💯 get that!
One of my favorite books of all time!
