If I take so much as a week off from a story, I tend to lose connection with that piece. Then I have to reread to get it back. Does this happen to anyone else? #writingq #WritingCommunity

That’s admirable
That is amazing!
I just love third person
😂
I agree 💯
That’s really beautiful
Someone eventually does
What a cool character
This is really beautiful
That’s so true
My MC can relate to that
That sounds lovely
I do t think I could do political intrigue either
That makes sense. Come to think of it, I have a lot of anti-corruption themes. I guess I haven’t avoided politics as much as I thought
I’ve never had a politician as a character before
Those are excellent questions and you’re right
That makes sense. I do explore social issues, just different ones than you mention here (though I do embrace a pro-diversity pov)
That totally makes sense. I guess I meant it in a dull way, like conservative versus liberal. I know it’s more than that, though. I also include social issues like misogyny and the effects of gentrification, but I don’t make direct connections to political parties, if that makes sense
Do you ever include politics in your stories? I try to avoid that because I get enough politics in real life #writingq #WritingCommunity
What does your MC long to be? Blake wishes he was beautiful because he’s tired of being bullied for being the opposite #writingq #WritingCommunity
I want that as well
I love everything about it, especially the chairs
I think it’s a story construction problem too
That’s a lot of rewriting
I know what you mean. I’ve slowed down my process a lot by planning a few chapters ahead. Then I go back, once I’m completely done, and fluff everything up with better details or change some I already had
I can relate
I can relate! I think I’ve finally gotten a solid revision process established
I know what you mean about sentence-level concerns
I have a mix of long and short chapters
