Announcing new #Falklands bank notes, released later this year. I think the new designs are quite nice - this is the £5 note featuring, amongst other things, a pale maiden flower. I happen to know that the Financial Secretary spent some time perfecting his signature for these! What do you think?

With it being so close to midsummer and also full moon, it didn't really get dark last night. The local police took these photos whilst on nighttime patrol. Not quite the Simmer Dim of Shetland, but our version of it! Nessun dorma in the #Falklands (unless you have blackout blinds).

We've got a live one! Although the #Falklands was declared minefield free in 2020 we still come across unexploded ordinance from the 1982 conflict. There's a specialist team who deal with it, supported by local police. What Three Words is used to let everyone know where to avoid.
