i could make a small video on how to do it, though i know im not great at explaining things.

it was rlly fun to get references to make these different options and then play character creator for hours LOL. im rlly happy with the noses and brows and satisfied that i was able to make my vision real 🙏

i would also like to say! im glad many ppl liked the nose shapes specifically that come with helle, and want to say that its not particularly hard to do [making different options] so i hope it becomes more of a thing ppl adopt as i dont see it very often.

this is not all to say that ppl that pirate are completely in the right either (or the same), as i do have issue with much of the attitude.

however, i do agree that a mod should not be paid if its most basic function and principle does not work, and thats what im trying to say here.

making makeup work for deep skintones is easy too. if u dont know how to do that for a paid mod, and at that price, you should not be charging for it.

it is not difficult to be accessible and inclusive. that is so many people that cannot enjoy ur work bc of either "aesthetic" or "too much work."

$20-40 for a sculpt that clips and has overly edited previews (or hardly any at all), with no skintones shown other than white is just not it. it takes no effort to just take screenshots and put them in google drive. i never understand why theres never more previews, bc u should show off ur work!

unfortunately, while im sure many ppl put in the effort, its obvious that many also jump straight to paid modding and just dont know what theyre doing. while creators deserve to be paid for their time and craft, there is a certain limit that is honestly unacceptable to me.

i do have many gripes with paid modding myself and do my best to put my money where my mouth is when it comes to it. ive tried to grow and learn for years now to make sure my work is up to my standards, so that it doesnt feel like im taking advantage of ppl (on my end and the buyers end)

ive been seeing some stuff abt paid mods today and i would like to mention that while my sculpt, helle, is paid (and will be free eventually) im also open to negotiating, giving some kind of "demo" mod (not sure how i'd do that), or simply giving it for free if requested before its publicly free.

same here 😭😭😭 the farthest i can comfortably reach is like the 3 key. how am i supposed to even hit control and 4 at the same time. im not even sure my thumb would reach all the buttons on an mmo mouse like there is no other way LOL

My FFXIV OCs: Marceau (duskwight elezen?, he/him) on the left and Selaine (wildwood elezen, she/her) on the right. They are both wearing black fantasy garb. Marceau's left eye doesn't appear human and emits a fuchsia colored light. He grabs his sword partially unsheathed by his side. Selaine looks down at the viewer with her staff in hand. The two are surrounded by ravens (shh, i know they're crows but imagine they look like ravens) ------------------------- Marceau was always the face of sincerity and kindness. From his aid in Dzemael Darkhold and throughout her adventures as the Warrior of Light, Haena could not deny his noble spirit. But he always kept his secrets. His disfigured left eye, how he hid from revealing his body, how he spoke to the ravens that seemed to follow him. Eventually, Haena and the Crystal Braves would learn that Marceau had a certain benefactor. Introducing herself through one of the ravens, Selaine introduced herself as Marceau's dearest ally. Marceau explained that Selaine was simply too absorbed in her research to join the fray herself often. But she was fighting in her own way. He explained that his magic was connected to her sorcery. Any further details Marceau and Selaine quickly denied to answer. sokyra is a lil more expressive in that sense, and does it more when around those shes comfortable with. she keeps more to herself, her hands clasping each other usually. she'd only rlly talk with her hands when trying to explain something in detail in order to be understood.

lola is not expressive at all, or is rarely expressive. she's also not the type to talk with her hands, at least not in a conversational way. she'll point or use her hands to show something as needed in place of talking.
