My computer monitor died, cause it was older than God. I have no idea when I'll be able to get another, and I needed my PC. So I hooked up my 32 inch flat screen to it, and holy shit. It's awesome, but I really don't need a monitor this big. Good news is, I can now see everything without my glasses.

A yellow amanita mushroom growing in fallen brown leaves with a little bit of grass in the foreground.
I hope you all had a lovely, restful Labor Day holiday. The amanitas in my yard are still putting in work today. 💛

Mixed media piece using pencil, pen, and black ink wash to create a greyscale scene on vanilla off-white paper. It depicts a striking figure of a white woman in long, dark garments, dramatically playing violin while standing on a roof overlooking other city roofs. Long, wavy dark hair flows freely from her head and a little shorthaired white cat is up on it's rear legs playing with the trailing ends of her hair.

One thousand percent. Libraries are so much more than "a quiet place full of books." My library even lends tools and small appliances! You can borrow kids engineering kits! They have maker spaces and classes! I can do Rosetta Stone and LinkedIn learning courses for free! I love it forever.
