I once had to help a friend get their ailing German Sheppard (a giant one) to the hospital because the dog couldn't walk on her own & the friend had limited arm mobility. It was the worst experience of my life in terms of pet stories. like 70 pounds of dead weight with zero help and in an emergency.

If I can’t lift the dog to safety or in its bad health, I do not get that dog. I personally couldn’t have a dog over 30lbs for long term carrying.

Sadly I have to agree. I’ve seen lithe Doodles jump up on me (neighbor’s unleashed dogs) and nearly push me over. I went OFF of the owners because if they touch my senior mom with one little doodle hair, it’s all over. There’s no context but overall not the size dog. My rule of thumb is

Bean corn salsa

Craving a simple #vegan dinner. My bean/corn salsa(?). Just beans, corn, red onion, pepper of your choice, some cumin to taste, salt, sugar and rice or apple cider vinegar splashed on it. #veganfood

might have to spritz them with oil, they're not as greasy as the OG but it does work. i've done grilled bologna and faux cheese sandwiches!

You know what never gets old? The TV series Fringe. X-files had a wonderful in the moment feeling, following the times it existed in, but Fringe feels timeless. I'm waxing nostalgic, but it never feels dated. I mean, it is set in a vague decade after 2001, but it rides off Bishop's history.

Oh no, the construction crew of one took off for lunch and the only thing I can access in this kitchen is my fresh sour dough bread and my favorite #vegan butter?!?!

When I can taste them they remind me of a sauce that’s half way finished. Green bell peppers are gross. It belongs on pasta not bread. Now a bbq sandwich? All day every day. But not this.

The best time to make sloppy joes (#vegan or not) is when you can’t taste anything because of your cold.
