Context here is grasslands and savannas are often treated as degraded forests, which means restoration targets a forested state. But in these ancient systems restoration to forest would itself be ecological degradation.

Bilingual Environmental Educator Full-time, hybrid position based in Palo Alto, CA Under the direction of Canopy’s Education Director, the Bilingual Environmental Educator will be responsible for developing and implementing Canopy’s new PreK-12 “From Canopy to Creek” curriculum in collaboration with schools and community-based partners in Santa Clara County, with a focus on Mountain View, Los Altos and Palo Alto.
