Text reading “USA Shipping now available from Indie Press Revolution” over the cover of Carved in Stone. Cover shows a precision of ancient Scots hiking through a forest, but with badly drawn USA flags in their hands.
It’s official - Carved in Stone is finally available in the USA, through the one and only @ipr.bsky.social !
You can order your copy directly from them (alongside a host of other beautiful books and games!)

They moved a historic house in downtown Erie today from one street to another, and the timelapse from Erie News is so cool. Despite rain, it took about seven hours.

The latest in SOUP-like room tourism technology.
Huge thanks to everyone in the SOUP GROUP for their support, enthusiasm, and incredible patience with me on this project. SOUP ROOMS literally would not have been possible without them.
More SOUP-like experiences will be arriving from us in the future.
Stay tuned!

The side of an woman's effigy tomb showing the bottom of her dress and her feet (she lays on her back). The dress is depicted as many wiggled folds of fabric, and we can see the soles of her small shoes.
slightly obsessed about the end of this lady's effigy tomb with the voluminous folds of her dress and petite heeled shoes

A young person with braided red hair rides a spotted brown horse through trees, a determined look on their face. They have a brown cloak, a yellow tunic/dress, and black leggings. They're carrying a water flask and a leather book satchel. Whatever message they're carrying, it's clearly urgent.
Carved in Stone is HERE!!! @archaeonado.bsky.social called it “the best book on the Picts ever written,” so you should definitely check it out over at www.stoutstoat.co.uk/carvedinstone

level progress diagrams of all of the maps from The Ultimate Doom - check the thread linked more more details
was just reminded of an old great thread on Doomworld: the Doom level progress diagram. it was created to address the age old question about when a map should be considered linear or non-linear www.doomworld.com/forum/topic/...

The photo shows an Acheulean biface handaxe knapped from dark grey flint with a creamy-white cortical layer, shown against a black background. The handaxe is roughly tear-drop shaped with a pointed tip and rounded bottom. There is a fossil shell centrally displayed on one face, identified as the Cretaceous bivalve mollusc Spondylus spinosus. Above the shell to the right is a small rectangular museum label. The toolmaker has knapped the flint in such a way as to retain the shell in a central position. Measurements 79mm x 35mm x 132mm Weight 0.375kg. Collections of the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, University of Cambridge.
Something beautiful for the weekend!
An extraordinary Acheulean handaxe knapped around a fossil shell c. 500,000-300,000 years ago!
The shell’s central display has been described as an example of aesthetic intention by the toolmaker.

On the left of the image, there is a quote: "It's basically the best book on the Picts ever written. By starting from Scotland's environment and incorporating lessons from archaeology, history and art, this brings the Picts to life more effectively than any other depiction I've yet seen." from Dr Adrián Maldonado, National Museums Scotland.
Pre-orders for Carved in Stone are open!! This book is gorgeous, and I am so grateful to use it (and the artwork!) in my videos.
You can pre-order from @stoutstoat.co.uk here: www.stoutstoat.co.uk/carvedinstone
Thanks to @archaeonado.bsky.social for the endorsement!
