During the course of the year, I keep track of all the movies and TV shows I watch. In previous years, I’ve always put stand-up comedy specials in the “movies” category. But this year I’m switching them to “TV shows”. I just wanted everyone to know this for no particular reason whatsoever.

I’m glad Anthropic said “no” to the Department of Defense’s request, but it just shows how badly we need legislation *right now* for AI. We need laws and guardrails. We cannot rely on the moral compass of CEOs to keep us safe from their own products.

I got a nice water bottle for Xmas & I’ve been using it every day. No goal for how much water I drink, but I *am* drinking more. Which means I now pee several times a day. I have to walk by a co-worker’s office to get to the bathroom, & I’m pretty sure she thinks I have a urinary tract infection.

Had a very productive drawing day yesterday. Social media has become such a huge disruption, though. I probably could’ve got more done if I didn’t have the itch to check Threads and Bluesky every so often.

Totally. I have many friends who swear by CSP. But it’s not my cup of tea as much I’ve tried to tweak it to my preferences.

I’ve tried to incorporate Clip Studio into my workflow, but I can’t get the lines I want no matter how many brushes I try or modify. Procreate has its flaws, but I’m satisfied with the art I produce with it. And I think that’s more important to me than the comics-making features of Clip Studio.
