If you’re in the UK, Helmshore Textile Museum in Lancashire is well worth a visit. You can find out about mills workers, the Industrial Revolution and how it all ties into the Cooperative movement which began a few miles away in Rochdale. Having visited recently, I can recommend the guided tours!
