I'm hoping to be in Ireland later this year and want to catch the exhibition. Given the likely timing of my visit, looks like I might be heading to the National Ploughing Champs in Offaly!

Apart from a few wee mistranscriptions here and there, an absolute masterpiece from archives staff, thanks to all for the amazing work over the last few years. #genealogy #speirgorm
Entry for Bridget O'Hanlon in the 1926 Irish return, listed as the 1 year old daughter of the householder.
But all is revealed when you look at the actual return...
Transcription of 1926 Irish census entry for Bridget O'Hanlon, a 90 year old living in Glennogue, County Cork, with "both parents alive". Allegedly.
This caught my eye whilst rummaging around the newly released 1926 Irish census. Really?? #genealogy #speirgorm
Great questions and interesting comments from the audience tonight at NZSG Wellington for my talk about the Mermaid’s 1863 voyage from England to NZ. Always come away learning something new! #genealogy

Loved this, a really fascinating listen!
One NZ changing over our cable modem. Except they didn’t - cancelled and emailed the instructions for us to do it. Two long support calls later, and we’re mostly back online.
Our internet is off at the moment so I can’t go and check mine *grumble*
Looking forward to talking about English school records and the stories you can find in them. Featuring a few of my rellies as usual! #genealogy

Yup, life is short, no time for regrets.
Haha I did! Won’t mention how much I spent, but at least no travel or accommodation costs, right?
Just seen it on RNZ! woot woot!
Ah magic ! Missed out on a ticket to this, hoping they’ll do another show or more in NZ
The recording of my Tipperary Studies talk on Catholic churches and chapels before and after Emancipation is now online for anyone who wants to watch it! eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com?url=https%3A...
You got this, Pam!
Fab! Near to family, so might get to pop in on my next visit. Adding to my list of places
I think I’ve seen this presentation before? Same presenters in any case
Ooo Liz - which museum is that? Good reason indeed!
It’s frustrating when you can’t find them, but neighbours are the key!
That’s the plan!
Looking forward to giving this talk later tonight (11.30pm NZDT / 10.30am GMT) for Society of Genealogists #genealogy portal.sog.org.uk/Event/view/1...
Ooo right up my alley!
It would be good to get the date confirmed from the clothing, etc.
If it was a wedding photo, I don't think there would be a child in it, even if another family member. Plus, I think they look a bit older than their early 20s. Do you think it was taken in Scotland? I always thought it was taken in NZ, and one of their daughters.
Oh, interesting it was free!
