George lived 1881 to 1967. He served in the Spanish American War.

So the information we were originally given was wrong. I found names on both pictures. They are my wife's father's family not her mother's. They were hidden because MIL hated her husband's family.
It turns out they are the same person, George Flach. Neither picture has a year.
