I had this; learned to burp at like 24 years old.
I somehow managed to find muscles by flexing muscles in the lower chest area that would help build pressure upwards until the body gradually learned to loosen up.
Not very specific, but it was possible for me!

I do much prefer C#. Though there's a certain beauty in the C++ ownership model that once it clicks is very nice to work with. The deterministic destructors allows for a lot of good patterns!

Be sure to experiment a lot! Do something super basic(like get a couple of sprites on the screen) and then play around with it. If you follow a tutorial make sure to change things along the way; this is how I learned pretty much everything I know about it! :)
