I was awoken by an alert on my phone last night around midnight. Through my sleepy fog I thought it said ā€œinternational threatā€ and I thought were were gonna be bombed. Then the tornado sirens started blaring. It took me a couple minutes to wake up enough to see ā€œtornado warningā€ in the alert šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

Ask yourself why they won’tā€

With all the beauty coming out of #Artemis I can’t help but think that the next mission should include a poet.

I usually think ā€œwell if I figured this out, anyone canā€ at work, but sometimes when I explain what I did to people they get so impressed and then I get embarrassed. I work with VERY intelligent people, so I’m 99% sure it’s just lack of bandwidth on their part. But also 😊😊😊😊

Balance.
- made a logic breakthrough at work.
- felt a whisker, went to the bathroom to pluck and couldn’t find it. Recalled the lighting isn’t the problem, I need my glasses to see them now. Went back to my office to retrieve the glasses that were on top of my head the whole time.

Re-humbled.

While waking up early is still very difficult, after about 3 months of working out 3-4 times per week, my body still hums with pleasure the rest of the day on workout days.

Haven’t really lost any weight, maybe 5 pounds tops, but my lungs and heart feel awesome.

Still hate mornings, though.

Il Burato pattern by Nathan Taylor If you are looking for some sixteenth-century, Italian opulence, then this is the scarf for you!

Bought yarn for this project today that should be a lot of fun! I also noticed that I buy a lot of this specific yarn, so I bought a couple black and a couple white skeins to make impulse colorwork projects more accessible. Here is my next double knit project!

Senator calls for DEA to provide info on "incredibly disturbing" Epstein drug investigation Federal drug enforcement investigators targeted Jeffrey Epstein and 14 others in a yearslong probe first reported by CBS News.

This is a big one. A newly uncovered document has revealed the existence of a mystery Epstein investigation. It was spearheaded by the DEA and involved drug trafficking and money laundering. Epstein was one of 15 targets. The other 14 names are redacted. I've got questions.

My mom was a librarian at UCR and I basically grew up there. This visual has a smell in my mind and brings back loads of memories haha

And you are right, I can hear her giggle when I read it šŸ˜‚

Didn’t want to announce this sooner (for obvious security reasons) but Mike and I are past our transition period of removing our Ring cameras and installing Reolink. I canceled our subscription weeks ago and we are in our delete account process. Having locally stored video is way better.

I ran into this with other yarn of mine and figured it was held in a shop a long time and had moth damage. Dunno for sure, but I agree, VERY frustrating. The yarn in my stash was Estilo Plymouth yarn šŸ˜–

I know other, smarter people put these pieces together before me, but since Epstein’s ring collapsed, Trump then used Andrew Tate, right, and that’s why the dude was pardoned and moved to Florida (a convenient location for Mar-a-lago). This whole thing is so rotten.

University Place | Wonderful Wool for Your Plants and Your Planet Elaine Becker and Karen Mayhew describe how wool is a healthy soil alternative to peat.

If you farm or garden, this scientific talk on how waste wool (wool not fit for clothing) can be MORE beneficial than typical fertilizers. Very nitrogen-rich, very compact (a very little can go a LONG way), very sustainable.

This Olympic curling drama has hooked me.

I cannot get enough of the memes.

It’s like I had a reality fever and this is the relief I need.

But also… my driver’s license DOES get checked when I vote. So with his logic it’s the same as beer.

Fuckin hate my next door neighbors. They were yell-talking through the night during balcony smoke breaks, all the way up to 4am, waking me up constantly.

This has been an ongoing thing for 3 years 🤬

At least this time it wasn’t abusive yelling at his girlfriend. 🤬🤬🤬

Finished my sweet stocking cap except I can’t get up to sew on the fuzzy ball (it’s in my office) because my cat has trapped me.

Heads are going to explode šŸ’„

Cato Institute just nuked the lie. Immigrants have cut U.S. deficits by $14.5 TRILLION since 1994, slashing the national debt by a third.

All that ā€œimmigrants are bleeding us dryā€ noise? Absolute bullshit.

Holy shit, WaPo seriously?!

The descent into madness keeps going, with a once stable news source shifting into full-on propaganda.

Two: AWESOME audience reaction to Ice Out. I want more televised coverage of that sort of thing.
