Impaired driver enforcement doesn't only happen at late-night checkstops. Recovering from a big night out? Had a few drinks at lunch? Leave the car parked.
A ride home costs far less than a tow and a 90-day prohibition. And an accident could cost a life.
📞 If you see an impaired driver, call 911.

Vehicle Fire in Har El Synagogue Parking Lot Deemed Non-Suspicious
Evidence indicates the car caught fire while travelling eastbound on Highway 1 and the driver took the first opportunity to exit. Investigators determined that the incident is non-criminal and that the synagogue was not targeted.
If you have information or dashcam footage from the area this morning, please contact West Vancouver Police at 604-925-7300, quoting file #26-3372.
We understand the concern this will cause for the Har El congregation and our broader community. Our investigators will remain on scene until we have answers — and we will share them as soon as we are able.
