I love the photo on its own merits, but also what it conveys socially. I can see it being inspirationally posterized onto young women's walls for generations to come, just as images of the Apollo missions were for men in the past. Artemis, after all, is the twin sister of Apollo in Greek mythology.👌
As an amateur photographer who spends time shooting, editing, and selecting photos that I feel best convey the beauty of Nova Scotia, I'm keen on the photos from the Artemis II mission. If I had to pick a fave, it would be this one. What's your favourite one, and why? www.nasa.gov/artemis-ii-m...

💧 Last summer, NS saw firsthand what drought does to our freshwater. Yet while communities rationed water, our govt. allowed corporations to use vast amounts of this precious resource for next to nothing.

‼️ If the Houston government fails to meet this important commitment, millions of dollars in federal funding will likely have to be returned, and important natural sites that should be protected will remain vulnerable to extraction and development. (2/3)
