THE BRIDE! is demented and wild. Jessie Buckley gives an electric performance in this contemporary spin on BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN that’s both punk rock and BONNIE & CLYDE (or maybe SID & NANCY). Not perfect and messy at times, but an admirable, ambitious, entertaining big swing.

As someone who has seen Mallrats more times than I care to admit, this is a fascinating profile that has a couple twists along the way. Crazy how even mentioning the word "Scientology" to a former Scientologist provokes a Pavlovian response of hostility and near-immediate legal action.
A good thing from SCREAM 7: The SCARY MOVIE 6 trailer brought the house down.
SCREAM 7 is a big mess. Clearly Kevin Williamson tried to create some kind of bridge back to Sidney Prescott, but it feels so contrived and lacks the cleverness and bite you expect from a SCREAM movie. Has some standout moments and kills, but largely a disappointment.
It’s okay, now the next SPACE JAM can have SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS and SONIC THE HEDGEHOG in it. Democracy is saved.
