Yes! That's why with my grad students, in our biweekly meetings, we share & review messy first and second drafts for group feedback. They see that every publication is the result of a lot of cycles of work, so they don't judge themselves as much. And they gain skills in editing & giving feedback.

I think Canada desperately needs a strong voice on climate change - a crisis which continues even if we look away from it - as well as a party that isn't afraid to talk about public ownership for our collective goods. The federal #NDP doesn't shy away from that. 3/4

To be expected. Nenshi is not an NDPer & he perceives this as benefiting him provincially.
He had to get Alberta NDP to break their rules re: membership so he could run in the election. He is not of the left and this is not his party.
I think we need to have a conversation about the media’s willingness to lower its bar based on the most extreme shit a politician says, and how it results in the normalization of some pretty heinous stuff.
