I’m Gen X and never joined a political party in my life.
I joined the NDP with Avi Lewis running for leadership. My whole adult life, he’s been an activist.
The NDP needs a dash of celebrity and a lot of modern media-savvy. There are a number of good candidates; but he’s the guy.

My problem with Avis Lewis becoming leader of the NDP is that the type of people I know who support him have never managed to get anyone elected to any level of political office. For the sake of Canada, I hope I’m wrong. #ndp

Not surprising Avi Lewis won, but I would have liked to see more than one round.
Good on Tanille getting over 5000 votes though. Hope she runs as a candidate in the next election or atleast active in her EDA.
