Got out for a walk in the woods for the first time in over a month today! Randomly came across this old Ford.. looks to be from the 70s, buried under about 6 feet of soil. And a random baby toad!

Just returned from a 1600+ km road trip through the cape bretton highlands on my motorcycle. What a beautiful part of the province!

Haven't been on any hikes in a bit due to a broken toe and a bummed leg..so here's a picture of my view during my lunch break! I go sit on the rocks in the middle of this creek and feed the ducks on my break every day :)

Morning kayak adventure! Paddled through the bay for a few hours then stopped on a small island for a coffee break!

Few highlights from my hike today! Circled a lake, crossed two rivers and a dam! Spotted some pink lady slippers along the way too! Fairly rare wild orchid here! #hiking #nature #wildflower

Found an old cemetery a few kilometers into the forest, most of the headstones I found date back to the mid to late 1800's !

Sitting at the base of a massive fallen tree I came across during a hike! The root base was close to 15 feet tall on it's side!
