Dreams of Heaven, a creation of absolute bliss from Breakbeat Brewing in Southampton. 11.2% imperial stout with a lovely blend of burned caramel, treacle, molasses, brown sugar and milk chocolate. Beautifully balanced between a sweet start and a mild bitter finish. #beersky #Bskybeer #beer

The Wolf, from Three Sheeps, one of my favorite breweries in Wisconsin. Big bourbon flavor here with zero alcohol burn. Chocolate, vanilla, and a tiny bit of cinder. Medium-thin on the mouthfeel. 13.5% double imperial stout. #beer #beersky #Bskybeer

String Theory from Sinister Brew in Dalkeith. Big whiskey flavor without the alcohol vapor or burning — smoky peat, deep but balanced burnt. Mild sweetness, light chocolate, round, medium-thick mouthfeel. Very lovely oily legs along the side of the glass. Something special. #beer #beersky #Bskybeer

Helles on Mars from Saint Mars of the Desert (in #Sheffield), which is quickly becoming one of my favorite English breweries. A pale lager that is clean, crisp but with bready and citrusy notes. Medium bitterness and full bodied. So very lovely. #beer #beersky #Bskybeer

A brown beer bottle with a tan label and the letters “KBS” in a light blue chevron field. A snifter of the dark beer with a thick tan head is to the right

Couldn’t let #stouturday slip by without a direct contribution!

#foundersBrewing KBS is a BA classic that’s always worth coming back to. Chocolate, coffee, oak barrel notes, very nice!

🚦 Gapers Delay 🚦
Hop Butcher For The World
IPA - Imperial / Double NEIPA

Verdict: POUR – Smoother than a highway with no traffic. Juicy mango, pineapple, citrus, soft haze, slight dank bite. This is one delay worth stopping for. 🍻

PuTTy, triple IPA version. Woof. A punchy, puckering hop nuke from Verdant. You can taste every percent of the 10%; pungent, hoppy, thick and dank. Quite heavy hitting. #beer #beersky #Bskybeer

Double Negative. Grimm Artisanal Ales. Oh my days. Big roasty coffee, caramel and chocolate with an ultra-creamy texture. This is insanely delicious with rich depth and a pillowy, lush mouthfeel. This is a 10% imperial stout I can highly recommend. #beer #beersky #Bskybeer

The latest Guild Box from Moersleutel was super strong; even the carrot cake barley wine was a winner. When the subscription hits my bank account, it stings a bit. But as soon as the next box lands, it’s totally worth it. #beer #beersky #Bskybeer

This Dude abides when it comes to “Nobody F*cks With the Jesus” from La Quince, based in Madrid. Collaboration with Laguar Brewery. Clean, bitter, dry with some herbal, almost… gerkin (?) notes on the finish. 6.9% American IPA. Good. #beer #Bskybeer #beersky

Pastry Factory Tiramisu from Moersleutel’s Guild Box. Milk chocolate, Italian espresso, vanilla and an uncanny dry cocoa finish. Not sure how they pulled that off — impressive. 10% double imperial pasty stout. #beer #Bskybeer #beersky
