Sonic the Hedgehog sets out on a new venture on the open seas. He drives the Wave Cyclone waterbike while Tails follows along closely behind in the air. Blaze the Cat drives alongside Sonic in the SS Super-Marine with Marine the Raccoon riding shotgun and proudly raising a Chaos Emerald in her hand. Southern Island can be seen far off in the distance as Sonic and Blaze race further away from the island.

I don't do classic stuff often, so this was a fun change of pace!

I do the flat colors first, and then the purple shading on a layer above that set to the "multiply" blend mode. I'll often turn off the visibility of the flat color layer while shading and just use it to select areas because seeing the colors can make it hard to shade accurately.

It was me!

Eight panels, each depicting a selfie-style snapshot of Tangle the Lemur interacting with characters from sonic: drinking tea with Vanilla the Rabbit, hugging a very stiff Kit the Fennec, running away from Surge the Tenrec, working out with Gemerl, bothering Jewel the Beetle as she does paperwork, posing with Belle the Tinkerer, sticking her tongue out at Clutch the Opossum, and putting an arm around Lanolin the Sheep, who struggles to muster a smile.

Not I; the art for the Vtubers was done by Yui Karasuno, while the rigs were done by Iasmin Omar Ata (@deltahead.bsky.social). Iasmin also did the performances. My job was overseeing everything coming together and adding some extra things as needed, like Tangle's tail and the wisps.

This is the first Tails Tube I've helped direct, and I got to do some fun illustrations for it too!
