Phlegmigus Burpgurgle, Demon Prince of Nurgle
A box of hard pastels is great for different colors of weathering powder without the hobby tax (although the art tax isn’t much better). Just scrape the crayon edge with a hobby knife as needed. I put it on wet oils to help it stick. Varnish dulls it a bit, but you can layer it back on
For the green I started with a browner green and use a big round brush to dab progressively brighter greens over one another, staying closer to the center of the panel each time. I caught the edges with a basic pencil. Oil wash the crevices and while wet scrape hard pastels for pigment powder.

I hadn’t seen this printing, that’s so cool! LoS was my favorite Death Guard book. Dark Imperium has some really great characterization of Nurgle daemons, but not all of the perspectives it jumps between are as interesting.
