I did a series of #WB100 posts for Black History Month last year, and those got bombarded with the hashtag. It had gotten so damn obnoxious, I nearly stopped before my intended end date.

So, now that it's saved and will be released, you folks better show the hell up when it comes out.

For nearly two years, I got bombarded with that hashtag every time I mentioned Warner Bros. I did a whole year where I did the #WB100 Project and celebrated the studio's 100th anniversary, which is far more than what the studio actually did, and that hashtag was everywhere.

Seriously, next year when that movie comes out, all of you people who bombarded EVERY FRICKING SOCIAL MEDIA POST WARNER BROS MADE or ANY POST MADE ABOUT WB IN ANY CAPCITY with that damn hashtag better go see this film ten times and tell your friends to see it five and preorder your ticket yesterday.

Credit where it's due, even to The Mouse: This is a VERY positive thing to do and was also probably incredibly difficult 👍

I know Soap did the hour-long sitcom format for eight episodes including the final four episodes of the series' run. I felt if they continued, they probably would have gone that route full-time, but Columbia Television and especially ABC would have balked at it.

Their loss. And ours.

You know what doesn't scream out "avoiding disappointment and future regret" to me?

Paying $12 for 50 cents in pennies.

The commercials that pitch this, on the other hand, scream that message as a weird tagline, as does other schlocky coin pitches.

I could oddly imagine it on a marquee a la Dirk Diggler's vision of his name in Boogie Nights.

I literally wrote out the synopses of the fifth and final season of Soap.

The series would have expanded to an hour-long sitcom format with 13 episodes (26 half-hour episodes) and wrapped everything up.

It's impossible to do now, but it felt realistic & authentic.

It's crazy you could watch its spinoff (Knots Landing) and its doppelganger (Falcon Crest) on WB TV's Primetime Soaps FAST channel and on Tubi, but you find only the TNT revival series on streaming for free.

Heck, even the original Dynasty's on Tubi and Pluto TV, which is still madness.

And the CW reboot barely touched the "great premise" and really tried to shoehorn characters from the original without understanding the series as a whole.

Real "blink or you'll miss it" kind of show. They used to rerun it on the WB TV Generation Drama FAST channel, but for some reason, that channel disappeared recently from Prime Video Channels as did their WB TV Telly Favorites.
