The Last Picture Show (1966) by Larry McMurtry was adapted in 1971 by Peter Bogdanvich. As McMurtry co-wrote the screenplay it is faithful to the book. Changes include omitting some graphic scenes and using physical cues in place of internal monologue. 🍿🌳⛪
