With one of the major sources having ceased world wide shipping, I get the feeling modelhorse tackmakers are facing a lack of options. Quite frankly I am surprised that the modelhorse community hasn't been more forward in the tack and 3d departments.
It all comes down to lack of source choices. For years we have had a few saddle trees in the hobby but I am hoping that by finding someone that can make a good set and direct people over there, we can have a greater choice to work with, either via direct sales or subscriptions/contracts. Cont.
Well, I can sculpt them physically, with sculpey etc but it is very time consuming and a bit boring. ;-) Being able to choose from wpl, roping or ranch trees would make it a lot more fun to plan a new project.
Disney really is the worst. I had no idea they owned Nat-Geo! Of course they'd cut science and knowledge for that bottom line.

Unassmbled tan miniature modelhorse western saddle.

Got a few saddles lined up. Need to scramble for some money for an upcoming trip. There will be some plain saddles, useful for cattle setups and working setups. It won't be fancy but useful for Breyer modelhorses.
