Just a sneakpeek of some wip stuff of another game I will never finish. #unity #indiedev #prototype
Really cool! I am working on achieving a sort of similar effect. The low fidelity makes it so much more forgiving when you create textures out of photographs. I just love walking around and photographing interesting patterns and textures. Makes a walk in the park that much more fun.
O hi. I picked up this project again and made a cool rope creation tool.

Can't wait to show you all the next prototype I am going to abandon.
haha, yeah, exactly :)
How about this one? It's two buildings in 1. Instead of tearing down the old building, it's used to create the new building, without renovating it.

no one really needs more polygons than half-life 2
question: At what point in time is a project an unfinished prototype? What is the time threshold?
I always say: I like meeting new people because in the beginning everyone thinks I am the funniest until I run out of the 10 jokes that I know how to tell. And then you find out I am just as boring as everyone else...
But surely you make yourself laugh sometimes right?
Then enlarge what is funny to you and shave the raw edges off and you have refined it into a decent joke. Store that in your head till the right moment comes and everyone thinks you're funny. 50% of my jokes I told at least once before.
Introduction scene of Rey kinda vibes in the Force awakens. I like it
I present to you: Hyperball, a very chill spaced out pool game.
Made for #scorejam
Play it online here: sezdev.itch.io/hyperball-2-0

Is it a car or a pool table?
More news at 6.
It just took me 1 google search to ruin my life.
I have other stuff to do.
Thanks a lot!
I noticed you did something special in the game to make it feel good. But for a jam entry it's probably a bit overkill. The prediction was already hard enough 😅
Btw, since this is the first time we talk... I kinda love your games, a lot! Thanks for making them :)
you guys made friends?
Participating in #scorejam with Felipe.
Making a score based roguelike-ish game inspired by @grapefrukt.bsky.social 's wonderful Subpar Pool, Rack and Slay and Pool Trickshots.
Trying out some level design elements.

It's a bit early 2000s like tech. Like Half Life 2 or something. I kinda like it though
Progress: youtu.be/fwHbc6b41Aw
- Better glass texture, although I think it's a bit too pointy
- Piercing bullets
- Impact particles
- Floating pieces get destroyed
I kinda like how all these things are interacting with each other.

ow wow, man.. I love this game <3
Next up:
- Some overal 'health' to control the chance of breaking neighbours.
- Better drawn textures. Now I just made some blobs to prove the tech.
- Particles on impact
- Falling or breaking when no support
- Piercing bullets
Some progress on my FPS. Not gonna lie, this breaking glass tech was a bit more complex to make than I thought. It's a sort of tile rule system that alters UVs, so all 1 mesh.
Here's 2 different densities. There's a 10% chance to break the next tile too.

Hello #VFX enthusiasts
Here's one I did for a prototype that never shipped
Breakdown in 🧵
Perfect. Thank you so much. Always struggled with creating this effect.
If this gets 100 likes I will finish it ;)
ooo btw: I don't think I've ever learned so much from a personal project. Galaxy brain stuff 🤯
