From today, Anna Freud is leading the delivery of Autism Central for the NHS, a co-produced and co-delivered peer support programme for families of autistic people of all ages and those working with them.
Pleased to share that my chapter on Neurodivergent Parents in Higher Education has been published in Neurodivergent Education and Lifelong Learning. As a neurodivergent parent navigating academia myself, this contribution is especially meaningful. #Neurodivergent #HigherEducation #Research

Spectrum 10k has been permanently halted. A historic win for autistic communities, which will likely have a significant impact on how research funding is allocated in the future. Nothing about us without us! (ht/ @drstevenkapp.bsky.social) www.autismresearchcentre.com/projects/spe...

@misshalcyon.bsky.social Hi. I would love to be added to the Actually Autistic people in psychology starter pack. my PhD is in Social Policy but my focus on autistic trauma and identity among ND women covers a lot of psychology aspects. My website is www.KatrineCallander.com for more info. Thanks 😊
This little companion makes work a bit easier. Cats are definitely my spirit animals.
My PhD work explores how autistic women’s cumulative trauma intersects with social marginalisation, inequality and identity. It considers the process of reclaiming neurodivergent agency within ongoing social stigma.
Love being part of my little Neurospicy family. We all have different traits and profiles but love and accept each other with our individual quirks.

Current emerging themes of my PhD research.
I’m deep in analysis of my PhD research on Trauma, support and identity among late diagnosed autistic women with significant trauma experiences. As an autistic/ADHD researcher, it is both intense and validating to engage with the narratives.
