2) Crime on the subways is a tiny fraction of the ridership. The MTA system moves 2x daily as many people as airport in America combined.

Getting to east side from Rockaway Park via subway is awful and slow and involves the Shuttle to A to another one or two more trains. This and added frequency would be most welcome. I would have combined with LIC/Astoria after East 34 & East 90th though b/c that’s an actual demand though.
