Spotlight: report shines a light on progress - Around Ealing Progress with Unity is a report that sets out how the council has worked to achieve the aims of the 4-year Council Plan, 2022-2026.

In the run-up to the last local elections, we campaigned across London and Greater Manchester for more #SchoolStreets to be implemented.

Progress on #SchoolStreets in Cambs has slowed because Integrated Travel funding that used to come directly to the council is now going to the Mayor, who is less supportive of active travel. That money is now expected to cover buses, elec vehicle infrastructure AND road maintenance.

We're especially pleased to see a commitment to 200 more #SchoolStreets by 2030, including at secondary schools. However, with 200 schemes already delivered between 2023 and 2025, this new target feels less ambitious than it could be.
