#ottbike What a great solution for those with balance issues. I once met a woman in the Netherlands who had MS and she was biking (triking?) around the village for all her daily needs: groceries, library, appointments.

My guess is that open spaces are clear of snow by now, but I don’t know about the shaded areas.
Ottawa River MUP Report:
-Only TWO path crossing patches of snow between New Orchard and Churchill. A couple smaller piles. Wouldn't be surprised if it's all clear by tomorrow.
-Beyond Churchill looked covered in the treed area but it had that melting look to it.
-So Many Robins

Painted contraflow bike lanes should be protected with pin curbs to prevent drivers from parking - even if it's a low volume street. Being forced to bike into oncoming traffic is scary stuff 😲🚲

Hey #ottbike Innes rd between Jeanne d'arc and Orleans blvd is a mudbath of potholes and people who literally want to kill you.
Just wanted to go from Convent Glen to Canadian Tire.
This city is trying to kill pedestrians and cyclists.
Hey #ottbike: Laurier west bound in front of the court house is a complete mess right now. Detour is just a 'cyclist dismount, good luck' sign.
Suggest cutting through the park if you're coming from the canal. If you're coming over the bridge, note that the middle lane is now a right turn lane.
