I was so excited to see the knitting!

The Humboldt driver suffered more severe consequences than all of the gun dealers, police officers and politicians, who enabled the Portapique massacre, combined.

Has anyone actually laid eyes on what US ships are or are not doing in the Strait of Hormuz? Like, can we give some locals some binoculars or something?
Remember when the ads showed people looking at graphs of their investments going up and now it’s an overworked nurse on public transit justifying his existence.

This afternoon. Don’t lose hope.
All gifts, though impressive, never bring us as close to Love as does one simple act of faith. Let us seek God often through faith. Since God is within us, let's not look for them anywhere else.—Brother Lawrence, 1691, trans. from French by Carmen Acevedo Butcher 2/2

Let us not stop short by seeking or loving God only for the graces they have given us or can give us, no matter how great these may be. 1/2
You do in my church! I preach about Mary teaching Jesus about the Jewish faith on a regular basis. A lot of churches do. And yes, the High Priestess resembles many representations of Mary, especially in Roman Catholic Churches.
Was he actually there? That is BOLD!
At tonight's African Nova Scotian Heritage Month Gala at the Halifax Convention Centre Tim Houston was LOUDLY and justly BOOOOED.

It was a fantastic film. Deserves all the accolades. If the intention was to build a seething rage in all women who had dads who only wanted to dad when it felt good to them, well done.

No! You don’t get a do over! I HATE this guy!
And then I threw my headband at the screen.
“Honor my own sense of urgency & leave others to their senses of urgency” I love this!!!
Or because Canadians and Mexicans are boycotting US companies maybe? 🤔
If you are in charge of cooking and cleaning and you have a rat infestation that’s kinda on you. Talk to the millions of women in your shoes not bitching about their spouses and managing to keep the rats outside.
And then maybe we can remember we are still celebrating. I got a lot of nods and smiles. It felt real.
I am always relieved when authenticity works. These days it rarely fails.
It’s all great stuff, but the pace has been relentless. I gave lots of thanks and then asked us all to take a big breath for this last stretch, acknowledge we will miss details and make mistakes, that we treat each other with grace and a bit of humour
My churches have had a lot of great celebrations recently and they have done the work for all of them. Once upon a time I would have been a cheerleader congratulating us on all the happenings.
On Sunday, though, I instead acknowledged the fatigue.
you know that guy
Brad or maybe Kyle
who is always crashing on your couch because he still lives at home but his parents are in Enfield
then he isn't around for a while and you get to cleanup a bit
then all of a sudden he is back
that is this snow

To me it seems the only question that needs answering is what is the procedure for a high risk cis-woman offender and do that. No need to put a trans woman in a men’s facility just because she is high risk.

I’d say that’s a wide description of Catholics in general. I don’t think any of our churches can claim to be free of Christian nationalism.
Who articulates where faith belongs in the public square? Is it not present in the public square? As long as people of faith are there faith is present?
Definitely the imagery but I don’t think they categorize it the same way. But yes. Definitely Christian nationalism. Still. Carney needs to learn a little nuance when talking about Canadian identity.
3. If he’s saying Christian Nationalism doesn’t exist in Canada he’s absolutely entirely wrong.
4. Talk to Quebec about why they still allow crosses to hang in civic buildings.
5. Colonialism, racism, and Christianity are as linked in Canada as in the US.
Ok this is weird.
1. I don’t think the administration talks about Christian Nationalism, or don’t call it that. That’s what liberals call the position of the administration.
2. Obviously it’s not Canadian nationalism because it’s not Canadian.
I did a very unofficial search a couple of years ago of US stats and figured out that I, a white woman, am a thousand times more likely to be shot and killed by a cop than a cop does of being shot and killed on the job.
And the Doctor and his companion were like, “Yeah. Proper thing.”
