I don't use the treatments at all except when i need to. I send faecal samples to Wormcount every three months and check for fleas/ticks myself. I've had to treat my dog once for fleas and once for worms in four years. Vets, in my experience, have little understanding of the environment imacts

Thanks and no I've never seen one that well in 40 years of birding! 😊 Although the compression drives me mad. These are compressed ca. 30x just to get them on bluesky.

2 weeks ago 2 0 1 0

I'd just like to say that these images are so much more detailed/sharp than they look on bluesky. You have to compress them so much - if anyone knows how to do this better than I do please help. I set the long-edge to 1000 pixels and limit file size to 1MB as per guidance I've read.

Yes definitely. It seems to compress photos badly.

No the other way round. But peak migration for sand martins and house martins in the uk is last week of April and 2nd week of may respectively so they arrive over quite a long period.

Yes. Sand martins are a bit early and the house martin is my earliest ever.

I'd agree John - noctule based on structure and pelage colour. Bats feeding in the day in March is not that uncommon - they get pretty low on reserves in late winter
