The Intent to Live: Achieving your true potential as an actor by Larry Moss

The Intent to Live: Achieving your true potential as an actor by Larry Moss

This might be a super generic take among actors, but man is this book good.

I think there must be a kind of snowball effect that happens in the right circumstances where they’ve been around long enough, haven’t caused enough trouble to be ostracized, become a symbol of a triumphant underdog figure, and are a skilled and vulnerable artist with just enough mass appeal.

Netflix - please stop minimising the end credits of movies to suggest something else. Let viewers enjoy the soundtrack and see the cast and crew that worked on the film. We'll exit it ourselves when ready to.

Have you seen Arcane yet? The art in that show was super inspiring to me! Turned the art brain right back on

Yeah, that’s a big reason as to why it was so disappointing I think

1 year ago 1 0 0 0

Hahaha I mean I did get that, it was basically the same phrase 3 times but I don’t post or reply often on social media in general so I guess I expected more? I don’t know lol not worth any more of my time anyways. Thanks though, its just dumb that people do that

Well I hope you learned something new about batteries I guess, yikes. What a disappointing conversation. Must be tiring being so defensive all the time

Alright haha. Thanks I guess. Man, the short word count format really just makes everyone sound mad at each other :/ I don’t mean to be hostile if I’m sounding like that, and I do think planned obsolescence is a thing, just not in this scenario so its a bit much to hold this up as solid evidence.

Maybe its a generational thing, but were you under the impression that you only had one option? First of all I’m not exactly sure what that reply means as its super open ended but I feel like instead of declaring something like its fact you could’ve posted asking about the best fix for your problem

Or you could have forked over a tenth of the price to get the battery replaced? Batteries degrade over time, there’s not much anyone has been able to do about that… planned obsolescence remark about the battery of a 7 year old phone is wild honestly. Also upgrading after 7 years is very reasonable.

I’ve been trying to watch a movie a day for the last couple weeks, and while it’s not actually feasible, I’ve been able to watch quite a few movies I’ve always said I should watch.

It’s been really helpful to my acting journey and my film knowledge as a whole. I’m tracking it on Letterboxd :)

Yeah that’s definitely a built in part of it. Dying is easy and will happen a lot, but it just means that succeeding is that much more gratifying :) its not for everyone though. I’ve tried to get into Skyrim multiple times and after the 10ish hour mark or earlier I stop playing, just can’t do it lol

I can definitely understand being disappointed if you were expecting Skyrim. It’s more of an explore and fight enemies to gain runes to level up, and beat bosses to progress kind of game so once you have a hold on the combat it becomes an amazing experience! It doesn’t hold your hand much though

Alright, here we go…

- Zelda (Like, all of them)

- FromSoft games

- Ghibli, Arcane, PiB Last Wish, (just really good writing with really good animation)

- Outer Wilds

- Subnautica

- Huge steam library?

- Acting (in general, idk how to explain that, I’m a nerd)

- Ask for others!

I stand corrected lol i am not early

1 year ago 0 0 0 0

This feels weird, feels like I’m early to something, like the older days of the internet.

Anyway, in the next post, I’ll do an intro list of my interests and such. Might as well, right?
(Yup, definitely weird. I like, never use social media..)

If you can find it (and have a Wii U) I’d recommend the HD remake! Not as much has changed as it did with Windwaker HD, but I think its modelled after the gamecube version (Which to buy is like $130+ CAD used)

Cheapest is Wii which is good too or if you’re able, gamecube version on dolphin emulator

Here it is. First post! Phew, glad that’s out of the way. I hope I didn’t squander any first ever post potential!
