Nicole continued: "Recently, I organized a whole-school drop-down day on Financial Literacy. It was a huge success, and I owe that to the methods you taught me.

"I’m so grateful to you for introducing me to this creative and transformative way of teaching."

Nicole, one of our fantastic teacher participants, told us this in a recent email:

"Working with you had a profound impact on the way I teach, and I’m now incorporating interdisciplinary education into my school."

A screenshot from the BBC Sport website. A rugby update reads: "Smith misses penalty: England 12-18 France. Another shocker from Marcus Smith as his kick is pulled wide. That is a poor piss from a very kickable position."

Awkward typo!

Interested in doing an online Mental Health First Aid course to help further my understanding (especially for work) but just found out that I can't access Government funding for this because I'm based in South Yorkshire 😔

Has anyone else come across this issue? I'm really disappointed!

I can't believe it's 2024 and people are still using the phrase 'the deaf' 😮‍💨

Today is #IDPWD2024 it's a day to recognise + celebrate diversity. There is still a long way to go until we gain complete equality, but remember please don't actively avoid people with disabilities, or patronise, instead speak to us, include us within your lives. Be kind, always!

a 3d model of a pokemon with a sword and shield Alt: A GIF of Zekrom, a legendary Pokémon from the Pokémon White game, doing a funny dance. Zekrom has piercing red eyes and dark grey to black skin that seems to be armor-like. Zekrom also has a large, generator-like tail and long mane that ends in a tip, which occasionally glows in an iridescent blue color. It also has a set of small black wings behind its three-clawed arms.

Last night was one of my favourite gig experiences ever - and not just because I got to see Sleep Token.

I sat waiting for the support act, playing Pokémon White - keeping myself entertained, y'know?

Next thing you know, I had a crowd of about ten people cheering me on towards my 8th gym badge 🥇

'Refused service again with my guide dog, I'm done speaking out' Sean Dilley is inundated with abuse on social media whenever he posts about discrimination issues.

"Often the most vile abuse comes in the replies to lengthy threads, where discourse seems to get out of hand.

"Why would I continue to put myself through this?"

Such a great and different take on how to show and share a research project, with a fantastic range of submissions too.

Tired of Spinning Plates is about family carers, with an online exhibition space - link below - where people shared their experiences.

You're too kind!

There's one article out already that my colleague Sabine co-wrote (link below) and a second we wrote together that's with the peer reviewers as we speak 🤞🏻

Fab work! Amazing what can be gained when you actually ask children and young people what they'd like to learn about and work with them to put something together.

Reminds me of this from a couple of years back: www.sheffield.ac.uk/education/re...

I'll try to keep this profile updated as much as I can - so if you're interested in #accessibility, #digital, #DisabilityStudies, #filmmaking and/or #education, come say hi! 😊

So kind of you to say so, Flora!

We were subsequently approached by a big UK film production and distribution company - hoping we have something even more exciting to share soon! 🤞🏻
