Finally made it to Flensburg! Today's DB experience included taking the train an hour earlier than planned only to arrive an hour later than planned. And the Denmark adventure has been postponed.

I don't mind delays as much as I mind men acting as if the armrest between train seats naturally belonged to them

Even though I'm, of course, professionally interested in borders towns, that doesn't sound very tempting! And who knows what kind of DB adventure happens on my way back? Maybe I'll have time to walk along that lovely Fjord!

Apparently, thanks to Deutsche Bahn my day now includes a brief stay in Hamburg as well as a detour via Denmark (I've never been to Denkmark before!). Any sightseeing advice?

Thank you! I naively thought I only had to make it past Hamburg 🫠 I'll take all the karma points I can get because "Oberleitungsschaden" has just been added to the list.. I very much appreciate travel tips to satisfy the tourist gaze! Also looking forward to meeting you!
