This is amazing. And it’s truly the stuff of nightmares.

TransUnion tells me the cure for its data breach is subscribing to its Credit Monitoring Service. Then, it'll send me another message when it has the next breach...and the next one...
And if my identity is stolen due to its security failure? Not its problem.

Meet Princess Buttercup. She’s a perfect little lady, except she’s got horrible allergies … to human dander.
That’s right. My cuddly kitty is allergic to people.
Colorful baby quilt featuring twelve blocks, each with a butterfly that has ruffled wings and embroidered antennae.
I should be out protesting something. Instead, I’m contemplating my next quilt.
Here’s another dimensional baby quilt based on a Kristin Royston design. The butterflies’ wings are ruffled pockets!
No. This is Kristin Royston's design from her book "Sew Cute Baby Quilts." I love her three-dimensional designs. The fabrics are all from my stash of leftover fabrics from other projects, though.
3-dimensional baby quilt in bright primary colors featuring two rows of three swimming fish. The fins and tails are ruffles and flaps.
Baby quilt for my newest nephew. The top fins are ruffles and the lower fins and tails are flaps for little hands to explore.
Dungeon Crawler Carl audiobook on Audible.
Who else is deep into Dungeon Crawler Carl on Audible? For once, I don’t even want to buy the books because the audio performance is so freaking good. I’m on the 4th book now, and still loving everything about Carl and Princess Donut.
"Hey, are you a Christian female who appears to have it all together...?"
No, and stop using the word "female" as a noun.

Yes! The pink ones (tulip magnolias) have a sort of cardamom flavor, while the big white ones are a lemony-ginger. Definitely steep them, though - by themselves, the flavor is astringent and overpowering.
I’m starting the new year by taking a deep dive into the rampant and violent suppression of religious liberty and expression in 1600s Massachusetts.
Yes, I do this for fun.

Merry Happy All The Things!
I need to know what happened to Rock.
I’m getting old and #WindAndTruth challenged the strength of my heart. The Final Sanderlanche lasted every minute of the last two days.
Note to self: live long enough to see #StormlightArchive finished.
(Brandon needs to get to writing books 6-10, like, stat.)

What are the most important words a person can say?
So far - and this wild ride isn’t over yet - I vote for those in Chapter 99 of #WindAndTruth:
“I cannot take your pain, but I can help you carry it.”

Chapter 66 of #WindAndTruth.
No spoilers, but I was sobbing as I drove down a city street listening in my car.
SOBBING.

Dick Van Dyke is a Treasure.
Thank you for this splinter of happiness!
Watch it and smile and hold this happiness all day.

The cover of Wind and Truth by Brandon Sanderson, the newly released book 5 of the Stormlight Archive.
I’ve only finished Chapter 1 and I’ve already been hit hard emotionally twice.
Am I strong enough to read this storming story? (No, I’ve not read any of the pre-released chapters. I’ve saved them all for a marathon session.)
My weekend is fully booked: 30 pages down, 1299 to go.
If they find the guy who killed the CEO of United Healthcare, I can’t help but think that certain unusual legal principles might come into play.

I really hope our incoming president isn’t taking pointers from Yoon Suk Yeol.
An illustration showing a metaphorical “large high wall” separating “Church” and “State.” On the side labeled “Church,” buildings resembling places of worship are captioned “Religion goes here.” On the side labeled “State,” there are government buildings and a public school labeled “Science goes here.” The top of the image displays the text “BUILD THIS WALL.”
Religion does NOT belong in our schools!
Agreed? ✋

Sad and scary!
The photo is of a brightly colored patchwork baby quilt featuring two rows of three fish. Each fish is made of one fabric for its body and another for its fins and tail. Between the rows of fish are two blue fabrics and dark blue giant rickrack representing water and three rows of small squares of the same fabrics as those used in the fish. The fish have eyes. The finds and tails are pleated and flap, giving the baby something to manipulate and play with as he discovers his hands.

It’s a rose window! Gorgeous!
