I do agree that the IDCs should be visited on regular intervals and reviewed and negotiated, but this should be done in a rational, meaningful and measured way.

Also will pay for the actual space where you sit down to eat, the heating, the toilet, the soap in the toilet, the forks, knives and so forth... Also someone making sure standards are followed and not every diner gets food poisoning...

There are legit criticisms of IDCs and how they are negotiated, but cutting infrastructural and administrative support to 1/4-1/6 of what it was overnight is a devastating assault on universities and US biomedical research.
