We really did a massive disservice to kids who were interested in computers (and everyone else) by conflating "interested in computers" with "highly intelligent" and then setting them loose on the world with that misconception.

This morning's wake up call was a good reminder that sometimes we just need to enjoy the good things when they're happening :)
Definitely based on the Yamato but a mix of different designs.
Looking forward to the long weekend this week

It's a Fokker T.V, a Dutch medium bomber from the late 1930s, used briefly in the Dutch defense against the Germans at the start of the war.

A meeting at the outhouse… Two liquidators and a duck with gasmask
Ducky is facing the two liquidators
I added yellow flowers and bushes as well as scattered toilet paper. This actually is a bit of a test build because I originally bought the stuff for the house (ok not these bushes, I have another set in autumn colors ;P)
The scene has now certainly Spring vibes. At the end I noticed that the boxart looks quite a bit similar
And it’s done! I can not quite believe it yet, it has been so long since I actually finished something 😂
Subconscious I recreated the toilet box art, I originally fell in love with…
Anyways enjoy this completely nonsensical happy scene! 😁

Originally a private airfield later operated by the Far East Air Forces during US occupation of the Philippines; targeted by Imperial Japan in WW2 and was reopened in 1946 only to move operations to nearby Nichols Field (later RPLL / MNL - Ninoy Aquino International Airport - Manila) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nielson_Field
Currently operates as Blackbird at Nielson Tower https://www.blackbird.com.ph/
Nielson Field Tower, the old gateway to the Philippines from 1937 thru 1948, remains standing and is currently used as a fine dining restaurant. The old airfield is now a business district.
Seeing that they let the New START treaty expire this month, I am concerned with that analogy XD

Never was too happy with that older Apple Bloom art.
Found myself stuck in stuck with my tablet but not my usual work files for a while, and thought it the perfect time to redraw her. I am immensely more pleased.

Digital illustration of a New Year’s good luck lemon pig. A lemon on toothpick legs, with triangular ear flaps cut from the rind, eyes made of two whole cloves, and a mouth cut into the snouty end that holds a penny, and finally a curly foil tail stuck in the opposite end. On a greenish background, I t’s surrounded by rough yellow lettering outlined in orange reading ‘Maybe it will happen today’.
